Hands up who doesn't always put themselves first?
It's a constant struggle to balance everything life throws at you, whether it's work, pets, kids, family, sometimes everything can get a bit too much and we all need reminders to take for some self care.
I'm the first to admit, I'm not too good at it as I sometimes feel guilty & constantly think about what else I 'should' be doing with my time.
Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing tips and ideas for some self care to help inspire you all.
So, what is your self care routine? what do you do for some 'me time'? What tips would you give others about self care?
Our first tip is to do something relaxing, whether that means taking a nap, having a bath or lighting a candle. Do something that will help your unwind and destress.
Focusing on your self care can help with both your mental and physical health and it's not a selfish thing to do. Even making one small change in your daily routine can soon make you feel happier and healthier.
So, over this week, we are challenging you to take some time for yourself and remind yourself that self care is not selfish.
